As with many things in life...it takes a village or, in our case, a family. Together, we've been raising dogs in our home in western Kentucky for over six years now. When I say it takes a family, I mean it. Every person in our home is vital to us being able to raise the most family friendly, thoroughly desensitized and socialized puppies we can. The time in training and maintaining a healthy environment where the puppies can learn and thrive takes lots of cooperation and coordination. Our family has sacrificed time and comfort and holidays together to give all we can to bring you the very best of our program. Over many years, we have built our poodle program to be something we are truly proud of with a focus on temperament, training and matchmaking. Once you get a poodle from us you become a part of our family too!
Grant and Tyler or as they're often referred to as "The Twins" have been helping us since the very first puppy was whelped. Tyler was even a partner in the business at one point but college and commitments took him elsewhere in his path. Nevertheless he continues to help and his personal dog is a fan favorite, Noel, our intense red sable (not pictured). Grant has always been an animal lover but swore he would never like poodles but we think they've rubbed off on him. His personal dog is Kismet who is a gorgeous, unique flat coat labradoodle.
Lilly is a truly caring and quiet spirit that brings a sense of peace and calm to the puppies. She helps with many puppy tasks and is second in command during temperament testing days. She may even be seen or heard playing them piano or ukulele while entertaining the puppies! Lilly is pictured here with Lyric, her moyen sized silver poodle.
Owner and life long dog lover who never, ever pictured herself loving poodles (seriously). I not only run our entire breeding program but also manage our social media accounts and built and maintain our website. I've had a lot of jobs in my life: nurse, farmer, baker, business owner and countless others but helping bring these puppies into the world and raise them in a way that brings out the very best in every puppy is truly an honor and a privilege of a lifetime.
Jason is my ultimate supporter and champion in this crazy journey filled with too many dogs (his words, not mine), countless road trips, risk, reward, heartbreak and joy. He's also the one who keeps me legal and honest on all my taxes and business matters. His background is in accounting and tax specifically so you better bet he makes sure every penny gets accounted for! He also allows me to sleep in an extra few minutes every morning as he takes the early shift of letting all the dogs out and getting them fed (no small task in this house) and for that he is my hero.
Every bit as mischievous as he looks, he's also the very best puppy assistant we could ask for! This guy is the head of our puppy desensitizing and socialization department. And as much as he loves the puppies, the puppies always love him the most too! Many days he can be found laying around lounging in the whelping box, hanging out in the puppy play yard or generally trying to come up with some kind of activity to do with the puppies.
