The time spent in the first few weeks of the puppy's life is invaluable. If a breeder provides the right care and attention to shaping their early behavioral responses, they can literally affect the puppy for the rest of their lives. The right breeder will spend hour upon hour using techniques and individualized training that will help make your puppy a joy to add to your family. Because we have a passion for raising puppies, we have implemented several protocols into our program which include but are not limited to: Puppy Culture, Badass Breeder, Early Neurological Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction, and we are a certified Badass Breeder Puppy Evaluator. We are always researching about new tools we can add to our box to help make your new puppy the best family member they can be!
Health is a priority here at Must Love Poodles as is transparency. We have specifically selected parent dogs for their health and structure and we do not use parent dogs that carry any risk of passing on known genetic diseases for their breeds. As you can imagine, building a program with these types of high standards is costly and finding the right dogs can take time and span miles. Because we feel so confident in the choices we have made in adding the best genetics to our program, your puppy will have a 2-year genetic health guarantee.
We believe all of our puppies are equally valuable, because of this we have decided not to price based on gender or coloration. We have a flat pricing structure for all puppies based on the amount of time and training that goes into each individual puppy. Getting your new puppy started right is literally a 24 hour job many days for us and we take our commitment to sending them home prepared very seriously. Your puppy will start their ENS (early neurological stimulation) and ESI (early scent introduction) at just 3 days old. They will begin the foundations of classical conditioning training at just 4 weeks old and continue throughout their time here until they have mastered certain skills. The puppies are all started on housebreaking and kennel training and will be well socialized with people of all ages including small children. At 7 weeks old, they will be temperament tested using the foundations of the BAB puppy evaluation to best help us understand their underlying temperament and what kind of environment they will thrive in best. At 6 weeks old your puppy will be evaluated by our veterinarian for any abnormalities or concerns. He will administer their first puppy vaccines (DHPP) and perform an overall exam. He will perform a fecal test for parasites as well. Your puppy will have been wormed every two weeks and will have a special course of wormer before going home as the stress of travel and a new environment can be difficult on their delicate systems. We will provide you with their health records including their daily weights from birth to 2 weeks old and weekly weights until they go home. Just prior to leaving, your puppy will be microchipped with a chip that has a lifetime registration. Every puppy leaves with a folder of information, a 30-day insurance policy through Trupanion, samples of dog food and lots of enrichment based toys and some Must Love Poodles swag! We want you to feel totally connected to each and every puppy in the litter and so we post on our Facebook page pretty much daily with an update, photo, video or all of the above. We want you to find as much joy and comfort in seeing them growing up and going through their developmental stages as we do. It is such a privilege to be able to raise our puppies and have such an intimate and lasting effect on their lives.
